Location.
Settled amongst the rolling cliffs and dense forests of the Purcell Mountains, the Panorama Mountain Village is a secluded resort in Panorama, British Columbia. Greywolf Golf Course is nearby, offering some of the best links in Canada along with spectacular mountain vistas. With 4,000 feet of vertical drop, the resort boasts some of the longest runs in North America. Heli-skiing is available and the area caters to mountain-bikers in the summer. Shopping, dining and nightlife venues are located throughout the village. The town of Invermere, settled on the banks of Windermere Lake, is around 18 kilometers away and offers more shopping and recreational opportunities.
Hotel Features.
Besides skiing and snowboarding, recreation at the village includes outdoor pools, a skating rink and sleigh rides. A spa is located on site and there are several shops and restaurants. Lounges and a theater provide off-slope entertainment and theme nights exist throughout the week. Child care and tour assistance can be arranged and there are laundry facilities at the village.
Guestrooms.
Several lodges exist, all featuring fantastic accommodations with fireplaces and modern amenities. Guests choose between standard hotel rooms, studios, one- and two-bedroom condos.
